Here I am, the night before I walk in New York Fashion Week (for the first time in my 20+ modeling career), and I have butterflies! Don't get me wrong, I feel very excited to have the opportunity to represent, but man, I am actually nervous. So although I feel like I'm free falling by wearing what I'm going to wear in the show...I won't spoil it for you, I kind of know that a little anticipation or feeling a little unsettled keeps me on my toes, in my game, and feeling alive. Time to take a leap and be a bad ass #Chromatbabe for SS18 CHROMAT
Right after the show, I'm attending the CURVYcon fueled by DIA&Co and couldn't be happier to chat on a leadership panel about the curve industry with:
● Stacy London, Style Expert and Author of NY Times Bestseller The Truth About Style
● Emme, Supermodel and Founder of Fashion Without Limits
● Nadia Boujarwah, Co-Founder and CEO, Dia&Co
● Marquita Pring, Model and Founder of Living Beyond Labels Initiative
● Moderator: Fern Mallis, creator of New York Fashion Week and former executive director
of the Council of Fashion Designers of America
A great day ahead for sure and all in honor of those battling #IRMA tomorrow and continuing cleaning up #Harvey.
Be well and always,
In Joy.
