  • By asking insightful, open-ended questions about currently-held mindsets and long-held beliefs, we learn why we do what we do (or don’t do) today. This often sheds light on old belief systems, for example, in need of a reboot, refresh, or replacement.

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?

Life coaches ask their clients probing present-moment questions to help them identify current roadblocks to achieving their goals. Coaches ask questions about beliefs and feelings about topics important for breakthroughs to realizing dreams, goals, and desires. Illuminating a path toward one's objectives over months of sessions (usually a 6-12 month period) and not over a succession of years.

Psychotherapists are trained and licensed to assist clients in healing from traumatic events, changing behaviors that do not benefit or harm them and managing diagnosed mental illnesses through the provision of psychoeducation, tools to support living a fulfilled and connected life, and a safe and judgment-free space to reflect and explore these events and experiences.

What’s a sound bath?

“Crystal bowls emit pure sound waves that resonate throughout the body’s tissues and organs. These sounds and vibrations affect brain wave activity, causing the release of powerful neurohormones that suppress pain, heighten the immune system, and produce deep relaxation. Additional sound instruments may be used, such as Tibetan bowls, a sea drum, koshi bells, a gong, and other instruments at the instructor’s discretion.” - Rancho La Puerta

What to expect:

  • Participants will either sit in a chair or lie down on a yoga mat, and they should dress comfortably and cozy. (Once you relax, your body gets chilly.)

  • As you experience the sound bath, you will be guided through easy-to-do breathing, meditation, and relaxation exercises to help slow things down to arrive peacefully in the present moment.

  • In 2021, Emme dove into the world of Solfeggio frequencies, sound vibrations (Hz), and their calming effects on the minds, bodies, and souls of those who were seeking refuge from stress, anxiety, and lack of sleep.
