Out of all the shows during Fashion Week in NYC, I believe Child Magazine's was the most packed and fun filled.
The child models were ADORABLE and taught me a thing or two about being happy and natural in front of so many people. They looked as though they were having a great/carefree time (except one little boy who clearly did not want to walk out, but by the time he finished, he looked as though he was having a good time!)
There was a lot of buzz in the front row as Kimora Lee and Russell Simons of Baby Phat (to name one of their brands...) and Hillary Duff with her Stuff girl's clothing and accessories collection took their places. And at the other end of the runway, a photographer was caught taking a prized goodie bag from a seat of a very loud woman who demanded justice! BTW: The bags were loaded with useful products for both mom and child...
Most of all, I enjoyed hearing the applause and roar of encouragement from the audience for each of the models and thought how real and supportive it was and how non emotional the other shows were in comparison. I guess there is a time and a place....
