I am beyond excited this morning having scanned the web for all the plus size product being offered. I've been digging around for the past couple of hours trying to find new comers into the market, the best sellers, hidden goodies and other treasures. What I need from you are you top sites where you like to shop and have success. Let me know so I can contact them! More to come! Have a great one!

I really like to shop at onestopplus.com. They have alot of nice stuff there, and cheap. Also greatglam.com has some really nice clothes.

I am a stylish 40 year old who likes high quality, conservative clothes at a moderate price. I am so sick of walking into plus-sized shop and seeing -polyester? hello?? -too much metallic and embossing... I'm not 16... -huge, bold bright color graphics that simply aren't my style...
Even Nordstrom has tacky clothes... Why can't the same styles available in Point of View, Narrative or Individualist be avail in Encore?
I shop J Jill, LB, ColdWater Creek (yes, old - but some classy stuff). I just bought a beautiful blouse there for $117 (with shell). Obviously i'm willing to spend, why can't anyone offer me anything better!!

OK, Emme, lets see --
I shop by pieces, so I occasionally find amazing things from the following sites:
jjill.com which has been very, very boring lately across the board.
RecycledThreads.com is a hidden gem. THey carry FLAX clothing in FLAX's Generous sizes -- 1x to 3x with lovely roomyness. Wonderful linen pieces to do the boho with. Gorgeous. Check out their sale for March 2009 -- if you enter 'March2009' at checkout you get 20% off. I just scored a whole bunch of brightly colored linen for spring and summer in my size.
bcoutlet.com where you can sometimes score some amazing pieces for very little money -- but you have to scan them daily or you lose out on the small selections. Make sure to check the sizing chart out too, as they take their overstock from jessicalondon as well as the more traditional roamans and lane bryant -- so size ranges differ.
ullapopken.com has occasional pieces that are quite lovely. Check out their sales. The fit is usually pretty good too.
bandlu.com is like torrid with more art. Check it out.
alight.com is also like bandlu. They have loads of dresses.
kiyonna.com has plus-sized designer items. Lovely.
igigi.com is also lovely, in the same class as kiyonna.
justmysize.com can sometimes have amazing pieces, but it's a crap shoot -- mostly just boring.
coldwatercreek.com sometimes has wonderful sweaters and tops I can't resist -- about 10% of the time or less.
llbean.com (they have a hidden plus section with some great deals)
onestopplus.com brings a bunch of sites together. However, it's only a selection of all the sites, I think, so going to all their sister sites one at a time doesn't hurt. Also doesn't have great sales.
lanebryant.com of course.
avenue.com of course.
torrid.com is ok, but clothing is really sized for junior proportions, I've found -- so if you're a woman with wide hips, buy larger.
macys.com can sometimes have some nice things, esp. on sale. :)
neimanmarcus.com but only when they have some sales
nordstroms.com (same as above)
dillards.com can actually carry some really hot pieces at reasonable prices, but around the same category as the stores just above.
I also wish that the US carried the TRUE european version of tallissme (not that that is carried at onestopplus.com). Here in the US, that lovely French-inspired clothing is not carried. :(
You can see the hot european version of plus-sized clothing at laredoute.co.uk then scroll down to the tallissme link. No, they don't ship to the US. :(

I think La Redoute in France will ship to the US (Etats-Unis)
The site is laredoute.fr --- click on Grande Tailles
Some of the stuff there is lovely.

Oops - this morning I realized I left a few places out:
newportnews.com has a decent selection of plus-sized clothing up to an occasional 4x, and some of it is quite fetching/designer-like.
holyclothing.com has some Indian-made clothing up to a 30/32, some of it nice, but most of it in the same vein. Harem pants in many colors!
Silhouettes.com -- can't forget them. They have some occasional nice pieces in linen and professional pieces as well.
zaftique.com -- sometimes has a few pieces that are interesting.
(yes, I have shopped online in all of these and the above!)

First of all, I have to say that I am really excited that we will soon be able to shop on this site.
BUT, where else would I love to shop? Modcloth.com! You have an ad by them on your homepage, but alas, they don't carry anything NEAR a plus size. Why then are you advertising them on your website? I assume that you use affiliate advertising, but if would be great if the ads displayed were vetted so that fabulous "regular" size clothing was not advertised on a plus size website.

Theorist...you so totally came through and cant thank you enough... La Redoute is a part of Onestopshop.com or womanwithin.com all a part of the RedCats company (French) with a wonderful USA branch.
also Amringro...well noted, yes, i will have these ads taken off once the new site is up and running. In time, even ModCloth will be cutting fuller styles due to the success the curvy business being done on the internet. It is undeniable. Funny that they feel they need to advertise on a full figured site to get customers when they dont have clothes to fit...such a huge loss for their business and a (sloppy) waste of their advertising dollars.
C'est la vie...those in the game will do well:) Stay tuned.
